At the Only Watch 2011, an exclusive watch designed by Patek Philippe has absolutely captured the hearts of watch connoisseurs, namely Patek Philippe Stainless Steel Minute Repeater. It is a piece featuring top-grade craftsmanship in the house of Patek Philippe. In order to pay tribute to the project, the watch manufacturer created the special watch inspired by the Ref. 3939 model. The Patek Philippe watch features an exceptional special design in stainless steel and it sports a black enamel dial, a 33.3 mm case, a transparent case-back and a perfect mechanical movement. The most attractive feature is a slide piece that can activate the chiming mechanism of minute repeater with a sound. Meanwhile, the case is built to be resistant and humidity.
To offer easy timing, the new model is embellished with a manual caliber movement with 28 jewels, so the timepiece is powered by running at the rate of 21,600 oscillations per hour to generate 48-hour power reserve. The high-level caliber consists of 336 individual components and has a minute repeater together with tourbillon escapement. The mechanism has been endowed with the certificate from COSC. This watch is decorated with elaborate Breguet-style minute and hour hands and delicate Arabic numerals which make a stunning contrast to the black enamel dial. So, the Patek Philippe watch is quite elegant and simple but classic. Plus, the timepiece is equipped with a black leather strap.
