French designer Olivier Demangel recently created a unique concept watch, which is Konect USB concept wrist watch. The watch is really a multifunction concept wrist watch because it comes with many features, such as Skype, MP3, USB flash memory drive etc. Thus, you can use it to chat via Skype, listen to music and store your documents as a USB flash memory drive.

This watch looks very fashionable and creative! On the border of the U shaped shell, there are 12 lights, and the blue light is hour hand, cooperated with the AM/PM green lights you will know the Hour. The purple light among the 12 lights indicates 5 minutes when it moves per lattice. Perhaps you think it is quite difficult to know the time on it, but you may attracted by its creative idea and appearance.

Now, Olivier Demangel has submitted this USB concept watch to Japanese company Tokyoflash, because they have rich experiences on three in one watches (Bluetooth, MP3 and watches). So let’s looking forward to see what happened then!

1. Eye of the Storm

The odd watch is designed by the famous designer Yiran Qian, which also has a distinctive name Eye of the Storm. It is designed with complete black style. It is totally different other watches, because its dial plate is replaced by a transparent hollow. And the biggest characteristic of the watch is that it would display the time only when you need to know it. There is a small button on the side of the watch, so when you slightly press the button, the two LED light spots that stand for the time will show from the frame.

2. ORA Concept Watch

The concept of this watch was from the designer Alexandros Stasinopoulos, which focus on break the traditional time display style. It replaced the traditional mechanical watch’s dial plate design by three coiled bands, and they are used to display hour, minute and date. This watch shows a external display design, while makes it different from others.

This paper watch was designed by Kyle Bean. He is a very excellent designer, and his creative works are mainly made from papers.

4. Electronic Ink Concept Watch

It was designed by Jonathan Frey, which is an electronic ink concept watch and made of glossy black metal and chromium. You can adjust the display screen by the two buttons on its left side. The bottom digits are light gray, so that the color of display background will be mixed with the color of watch’s material.

What’s that? Perhaps you think it is a handcuff, actually it is a digital electronic watch. It looks like a handcuff, and its creative inspiration is original from “we are all time’s slaves”.

The movement plywood is covered with adlc coating, so that it needn’t the protection of jewel bearings and lubricants any longer. Adlc is the abbreviation of “amorphous DLC films”, which has better adhesion than the previous dlc (DLC films). So you needn’t to worry about the bump caused by partial loss.
